Background
The First International Conference on Educational Sciences (ICES) will be conducted on 2nd-3rd November 2017, at the Grand Tjokro Hotel, Bandung. This year, the ICES’ theme is Education and 21st-Century challenges. Through this conference, we invite experts, practitioners, and observers of education from all around the globe to sit together to explore various issues and debates on educational research, policies, and experiences. The conference aims to provide a platform to redefine the meaning of education in the 21est century.
All full papers submitted to ICES 2017 should be written in English and will be sent to at least two reviewers (blind reviewer) and evaluated based on its originality, technical and content quality, correctness, relevance to the conference, contributions, as well as its readability. Selected papers will be published in SCITEPRESS will be submitted for further indexing to SCOPUS and Thomson Reuters . All articles get Digital Object Identifier (DOI).

Abstract and Paper Submission

The manuscript (full paper) can be submitted only after authors submit their abstracts. The whole submission procesis are done fully online (NOT by email) to guarantee smooth administration. Letter of Acceptance (LoA) and Letter of Invitation (LoI) can be downloaded directly from your account once your abstract is accepted to be presented at the conference.

About Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia:
Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) is one of the oldest universities in Indonesia, founded on 20 October 1954. By having this characteristic and all human resources, UPI commits its vision to become A Leading and Outstanding University in the fields of educational sciences in Indonesia in 2010 and to become one of the leading and outstanding universities in Asia in 2025. In addition, UPI consistently supports and facilitates the growth and development of other disciplines to gain the leading and outstanding roles. This implies a commitment to make UPI recognized and inspired nationally and internationally and becomes a reference in making educational policies on a national level.
In line with its visions, UPI has formulated the following missions:
